Your LinkedIn headline is prime real estate

The most-seen line on your profile is the one most people waste.

Your headline is the single most visible line on LinkedIn. It shows up in search results, next to every comment you leave, in your connection requests, and in the little preview when someone hovers your name. Most people fill it with a job title and move on.

A title tells people what you are called. It does not tell them what you do for them, and it gives nobody a reason to click. The fix is simple: lead with who you help and the outcome you create.

Write it for the reader

Instead of "Founder" or "Coach", use the shape "I help [who] achieve [what]". Add one or two real keywords so you still turn up in search. You have around 220 characters, so spend them on clarity, not clutter.

Fix the first two lines of your About

LinkedIn hides your About section after a couple of lines, so those first sentences do the heavy lifting. Open with the problem you solve and who you solve it for, then earn the click to "see more".

Keep it alive

A profile that has not been touched in months quietly signals that you are not active in your field. You do not need to post every day. You need a profile that looks current and a headline that makes the right people lean in.

Make your LinkedIn work as hard as you do.

I audit and rewrite profiles and Company Pages so coaches, consultants, and trainers look like the obvious choice.
